NFL Network analyst Cynthia Frelund released this year's list of the NFL's most underappreciated players, naming one player from each of the 32 teams. "To sum it up without getting overly technical, contribution metric measures each player's production during the 2020 season. We'll start with the highest-ranked of the two groups — the receivers. Pro Football Focus has the 49ers collection of wideouts listed at No. 7. Much of that is due to the potential of the team's trio of playmakers — Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and tight end George Kittle. "The 49ers have built a dangerous group of playmakers; it's just a matter of keeping everyone on the field this season," wrote Steve Palazzolo. "Deebo Samuel has been used everywhere in this offense.

How good do you think the San Francisco 49ers offensive and defensive lines will be in 2021? Pro Football Focus weighed in, ranking each group across the 32 NFL teams. Interestingly, both lines came in at No. 9 when ranked against their respective groups across the league. On the offensive line side, much of that is thanks to the re-signing of eight-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Trent Williams. The veteran left tackle initially joined the 49ers last offseason via a trade from the Washington Football Team. "Trent Williams showed no rust after missing 2019 and finished with the highest grade among tackles in 2020 (91.9)," wrote analyst Steve
