Several San Francisco 49ers players are in Tennessee this week for player-organized workouts. No team-organized workouts are allowed yet due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and players aren't even allowed in team facilities or to meet face-to-face with coaches.

As a result, players are taking what they are learning from Zoom video conferences with coaches and organizing workout sessions themselves. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been organizing those for the 49ers.

The Tennessee football team's official Twitter account posted the following photo of former Vols wide receiver and 49ers seventh-round pick Jauan Jennings with Garoppolo and fullback Kyle Juszczyk in the background (h/t to Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group for the find).

Update: The 49ers are practicing at the Brentwood Academy, which is just outside Nashville.

The 49ers had been working out at San Jose State in California but shifted locations to involve more players. Tight end George Kittle, wide receiver Trent Taylor, and quarterback C.J. Beathard spend their offseasons in the Nashville area. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel joined them from Houston, Texas, where he had been training.

Sunday Night Football celebrates the YAC Bros with this viral photo

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Los Angeles Rams 24-16 on Sunday Night Football. Yes, the game was up against Game 7 of the NLCS, but it was still a primetime audience, and the underdog 49ers showed critics that it might have been too early to cast off the defending NFC champions. NBC honored the 49ers pass catchers with the following image of the "YAC Bros," which in this instance is a fun play on Super Mario Bros. YAC, of course, means yards after the catch — something the 49ers' offensive weapons pride themselves on. The photo features tight end George Kittle and wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel. Aiyuk, by the way, is leaping over a charging ram, much like the rookie receiver

George Kittle says 49ers will rely on 'smash-mouth football' vs. Patriots, not Jimmy Garoppolo's inside knowledge

By David Bonilla
Oct 22, 2020

Jimmy Garoppolo spent three-and-a-half seasons with the New England Patriots before a mid-season trade in 2017 sent the quarterback to the San Francisco 49ers. Garoppolo not only learned the ins and outs of the Patriots defense from future Hall of Famer Tom Brady and practices against it, but he studied under the tutelage of defensive mastermind Bill Belichick. None of that may help the 49ers this weekend when they travel to Gillette Stadium to face the Patriots. Tight end George Kittle was asked on Thursday if he has sought any information from Garoppolo on what to expect on Sunday. "Insider trading information?" Kittle asked. "A little bit. I mean, they've changed up a lot. They've got different personnel there. Other than the fact that there are probably going
