Watch out NFL defensive backs. Deebo Samuel has his sights set on making you look silly in his sophomore year. The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver has been working with Rischad "The Footwork King" Whitfield this offseason. The footwork and training specialist posted the following video of the Niners wideout doing drills (h/t to @PFF).
Samuel caught 57 receptions for 802 receiving yards and three touchdowns through 15 games last season. The receiver's 14.1 yards per catch led all 49ers players with more than 12 catches. He led all NFL wide receivers last season in avoided tackles after a reception with 23 (including playoffs), according to Pro Football Focus.
Samuel's 484 regular-season yards after the catch ranked No. 5 among receivers.
Whitfield posted the following workout video of Samuel in May.
