San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert had a career game when he rushed for 220 and four touchdowns on 29 carries against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game. He now ranks second all-time behind Eric Dickerson for the most rushing yards in a single playoff game.
It's no shocker that, when Mostert was asked to identify his favorite game, that one was at the top of his list.
"A lot of people didn't really know who I was, at the time," Mostert said, "just coming in and sprinkling a couple of touchdowns and a couple of yards here and there. But I wanted to show everyone what I was capable of, once I got the opportunity, and I was able to do that.
"That game right there just really solidified who I am as a runner, and who I am as a player. That day, I was in my zone, and I couldn't be stopped."
Mostert, 28, carried the football 137 times for 772 yards with eight rushing touchdowns while adding 14 receptions for 180 yards with two receiving touchdowns through 16 games in 2019.
Mostert leads a 49ers running back group that traded away Matt Breida but still includes Tevin Coleman, Jerick McKinnon, and Jeff Wilson Jr.
