The team won't be permitted to host players for visits at its headquarters in Santa Clara, California due to Coronavirus pandemic. The 49ers will instead be conducting interviews virtually using chat software like FaceTime.

San Francisco gained the No. 13 overall pick from the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, who was traded on March 16.
The 49ers traded their second-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for pass rusher Dee Ford and their third- and fourth-rounders to the Denver Broncos for wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. The team gained a fifth-rounder from the Broncos as part of the deal for Sanders. San Francisco received an extra seventh-round pick after trading linebacker Eli Harold to the Detroit Lions in 2018.
