Add former NFL running back turned NFL Network analyst Michael Robinson to the list of media who wants to see quarterback Tom Brady land with the San Francisco 49ers. How many is that, now? I've lost count.
Robinson blurted out the typical reasons for the hypothetical marriage between player and team. Brady going back to the area in which he grew up and playing for the team he grew up cheering. Robinson mentions to the future Hall of Famer being a witness to "The Catch," which he mistakenly referred to as the "Immaculate Reception," a completely different historical play for another team.
Then there is the 49ers defense, how close the team was to winning the Super Bowl this past season, and how Brady likely would have completed that fourth-quarter throw to Emmanuel Sanders. That was all mentioned by Robinson, who doesn't really add anything new to the conversation.
RELATED Why the Brady-to-49ers speculation makes zero sense
That wasn't the best part, though.
The best part was the look that fellow analyst DeAngelo Hall, a former NFL cornerback, gave Robinson after suggesting Brady end up with San Francisco. Apparently, Hall, like many Niner fans, is tired of the wild speculation and couldn't believe his ears.
"He cannot have run Jimmy G out of New England, and then turn around and run him out of San Fran," responds Hall. "That just ain't right."
You can watch and listen to the exchange below. The screenshot above doesn't do Hall's look justice. You'll just have to watch for yourself.
In a perfect world... @RealMikeRob sees @TomBrady going to the @49ers 😳🔮
