The death of sports icon Kobe Bryant continues to impact the hearts of athletes and fans across the country. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who is preparing to play in Super Bowl LIV against the Kansas City Chiefs tomorrow, posted a heartfelt tribute to the NBA star.
Sanders shared a photo of custom cleats with art paying respect to Bryant and his memory.
"I'll do whatever it takes to win. Whether it's sitting on the bench waiving a towel. Handing out cups of water to my teammates or hitting the game winning shot." - 🖤 Mamba pic.twitter.com/p1BowN840D
One shoe has artwork depicting Bryant's image while the other features the two numbers — 8 and 24 — the basketball player wore during his career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The red and gold cleats, matching the 49ers' colors, also feature Bryant's signature and the words "Rest in peace."
