Justin Smith has left the building; No Bruce in sight

Matt Maiocco of the Press Democrat reports that defensive end Justin Smith has left the 49ers facility. Maiocco assumes that Smith left without a contract agreement.

While Maiocco believes that wide receiver Isaac Bruce will end up in a 49ers uniform this season, he is reporting that Bruce is not at the 49ers facility.

John Lynch: 49ers LB Dre Greenlaw has been 'battling through' injury for a couple of weeks

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch joined KNBR's Tolbert, Krueger & Brooks show this afternoon and provided some updates on Dre Greenlaw. Earlier today, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reported that the linebacker would undergo surgery and miss a good chunk of time. The 49ers general manager confirmed the report. 49ers sign S Kai Nacua to the practice squad, release LB Rashad Smith

The San Francisco 49ers announced a couple of practice squad roster moves ahead of Friday's practice. The team has re-signed safety Kai Nacua. To make room on the practice squad, the 49ers released linebacker Rashad Smith. The 49ers Communications staff provided the following rundown.
