49ers’ Tevin Coleman ruled out vs. Packers with shoulder injury

Jan 19, 2020 at 5:20 PM--

San Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman was initially listed as "questionable" following what the team labeled as a shoulder injury. The 49ers provided an update, saying that Coleman has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Meanwhile, running back Raheem Mostert has 160 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries in the first half. That is 11.4 yards per carry. Mostert's 160 rushing yards are the most in the opening half of any playoff game since the AFL Championship Game played on January 5, 1964.

San Francisco leads Green Bay 27-0 as the second half kicks off. The winner advances to play the Kansas City Chiefs in two weeks at Super Bowl LIV.

The reporter couldn't envision that happening given the tight end's character and actions this offseason. "That's just not who Kittle is," Barrows explained. "He's been taking part in all of the Zoom classroom sessions this offseason. He was on hand for the workouts in Nashville. My guess — and

By Levin T. Black
Jun 27, 2020

The San Francisco 49ers and star tight end George Kittle are currently working on a contract extension. The two sides have been for awhile. His agent went public with this info nearly a month ago. Since then there has been silence from both sides. They could be far apart. Heck, they could have already agreed considering the team managed to keep DeForest Buckner's permission to seek a trade and head coach Kyle Shanahan's extension secrets for MONTHS. It wouldn't be surprising if they aren't close however. This is because the 49ers hold every ounce of leverage in this situation
