The NFL announced that San Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week following the team's 34-31 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
Gould was perfect in his game against Los Angeles, connecting on each of his two field-goal attempts, including the game-winning 33-yarder, and all four of his extra-point attempts. The 49ers eliminated the Rams from playoff contention.
The 49ers signed Gould to a two-year deal in 2017 and then re-signed him to a multi-year deal on July 15 after using the team used the franchise tag on the kicker.
