The situation was tense. The San Francisco 49ers seemed stuck on 3rd-and-16 after quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was sacked late in the fourth quarter. They made up for it on the next play.
Garoppolo hit wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders for a deep 46-yard pass to get the 49ers offense to the Los Angeles Rams' 28-yard line and set up a game-winning field goal by kicker Robbie Gould.
