Mike Florio and Chris Simms of Pro Football Talk and NBC Sports published their lists of the top 10 NFL quarterbacks of all time following Drew Brees' record-breaking Monday night game against the Indianapolis Colts. While San Francisco 49ers fans might still try to debate the order or Florio's top two quarterbacks, the list, for the most part, is pretty much what you might expect.
The New Orleans Saints quarterback, by the way, comes in at No. 5 on Florio's list. That iconic Bay Area quarterback, Joe Montana, sits at No. 2 behind Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.
It's fine. I might have moved some quarterbacks around, but it's a solid-looking entry. No one's really going to make a huge stink over it, especially after glancing over at Simms' list.
Simms' entry left most fans scratching their heads and they reacted accordingly on social media. Aaron Rodgers at No. 1? John Elway above Tom Brady and Montana? In fact, you have to get down to No. 7 to even find Montana's name. The list looks like a puzzle, presented to fans out of order with the challenge of fixing it.

Fans and media alike have not been kind toward Simms or his list, which has at least been entertaining.
This is pretty funny. Only surprise is that neither guy had Jamarcus Russell ranked ahead of Unitas and Graham … and one guy mentioned neither.

It's Simms' list, and he has the right to do with it as he pleases. Remember, it could have been worse.
