Dante Pettis left Wednesday's practice with "an apparent injury to his left knee," according to Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group. The San Francisco 49ers' second-year wide receiver was able to walk on his own to the team's locker room for further evaluation.
The injury reportedly occurred during special-teams drills.
Pettis was expected to have a breakout season after putting up a solid effort during his rookie 2018 campaign. The receiver has just 11 receptions for 109 yards with two touchdowns through 11 games this season. He has been held without a catch during San Francisco's last three games.
The 49ers made Pettis a second-round draft pick out of Washington in 2018.
