The San Francisco 49ers remain undefeated. They had a lot of fun slipping and sliding their way to a win on Sunday against the Washington Redskins at FedExField. Everyone loved seeing the team enjoy themselves as the clock hit all zeros.
Well, everyone except these salty Washington announcers.
Seems like Washington's radio announcer was a little salty about the #49ers sliding all over the field on Sunday 🧂🧂🧂

Despite the team's continued success, there isn't much more wiggle room in power rankings because the New England Patriots, who remain the consensus top team, remain undefeated too. Interestingly, one ranking, NFL.com's, had San Francisco actually falling one spot and being leaped by the New Orleans Saints.
Below is a sample of some of the more prominent power rankings around the web and where San Francisco currently stands within each.

"That defense continues to dominate, which is why they are 6-0. But at some point, the offense will have to crank it up." — Pete Prisco

"Tough to find takeaways from a professional football game played on a mud pit, but the defense dug in and locked up an admittedly pathetic Redskins O, avoiding what would have been a classic trap game loss." — The MMQB Staff

"The shorter-term goal for the division-leading Niners should be winning the division, and if that happens, all doors are open. But when you're undefeated through six games, everything should be on the table, including a trip to the Super Bowl. Obviously, the Niners still have plenty to prove, and the schedule will get tougher in the coming weeks, but with a dominant defense and the forthcoming return of some key injured starters, there's still room for this team to get markedly better, which makes them a legitimate NFC contender." — Nick Wagoner

"The fast and loose 49ers are 6-0 for the first time since 1990 and have now held opponents scoreless over their last 18 possessions. The driving rain and wind gusts made this an impossible setup for Jimmy Garoppolo and the Niners offense to make a significant impact, so the defense handled most of the business." — Dan Hanzus

"Much has been made of New England's historic defensive start, yet Niners boasted league's top-ranked unit following Sunday's action." — Nate Davis
