San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided an injury update on Monday. Defensive lineman D.J. Jones is dealing with a hamstring strain while rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a groin strain during Sunday's 20-7 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
Both players are day-to-day and are currently considered questionable to play during Week 7's matchup against the Washington Redskins.
Samuel was targeted five times and caught three passes for 18 receiving yards -- while adding a carry for one yard -- before leaving Sunday's game in the fourth quarter.
Jones finished the game with four combined tackles.
Defensive back K'Waun Williams left the game with a hand injury while cornerback Richard Sherman briefly exited with a stinger. Both are expected to be able to practice this week and should be fine for this weekend's game.
