Jimmy Garoppolo is entering the 2020 season with little or no concern about the ACL injury he suffered on September 23, 2018. There are other concerns, of course, like COVID-19 and the lack of an offseason's worth of practices, but his knee is not among them anymore. Garoppolo should still have one of the league's best defenses and a top rushing attack to support him. Those two things were key in last season's division championship, and Super Bowl run. A lot of effort is going into trying to make sure NFL players are safe as teams get set to begin training camps. Significant changes have swept across NFL facilities, with every team needing to make massive changes to protocols, and even the buildings themselves, to ensure social distancing is possible.
