The San Francisco 49ers' Pro Bowl defensive tackle, DeForest Buckner, was mic'd up on Sunday during the team's Week 1 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium.

49ers Studios, the team's in-house production studio, posted the video above featuring the 25-year-old defensive star.

Buckner played college football at Oregon, and the 49ers made him the No. 7 overall selection in 2016. He registered two tackles on Sunday on the way to a 31-17 win.

Buckner has recorded 203 combined tackles, 21 sacks, nine passes defensed, and a forced fumble throughout his NFL career.

The San Francisco 49ers signed both of their first-round draft picks on Friday. That includes the No. 14 overall pick, Javon Kinlaw, who is expected to help fill the void left by the departure of defensive tackle DeForest Buckner. Disgruntled Washington tackle Trent Williams was one of those options. "We had made a call about it in the last season when Joe (Staley) and (Mike) McGlinchey were hurt, thinking, wow, this could be an option," Lynch told Greg Papa during the 49ers' virtual State of the Franchise event this week. "When those guys come back, maybe we play him at guard." The trade, obviously, didn't happen during the season. It did happen, however, during the third day of this year's
