I was looking through the San Francisco 49ers' social media videos for the day and was a bit surprised by one of the titles.
"Dante Pettis Signs a Baby," it read.
Oh no, I thought.
After all, it was just the other day I saw that Pittsburgh Steelers fans were turning autographs placed on their bodies into tattoos. The worst immediately came to mind.
Luckily, the request for the 49ers' second-year wideout wasn't anything that would impact the child for a lifetime.
"Sign the baby," a fan repeatedly yelled toward Pettis from behind a crowd of fans seeking autographs. Pettis obliged and signed the baby's clothing.
