The San Jose Sharks erased a three-goal deficit on Tuesday night and beat the visiting Vegas Golden Knights in overtime. The 5-4 Game 7 victory sends Vegas home and San Jose into the second round of the playoffs.

San Francisco 49ers tackle Joe Staley was there at the SAP Center with his teammate, Mike McGlinchey, to watch the thrilling win and celebrate with Sharks alumni.






49ers CEO, Jed York, also chimed in on the victory.


And general manager John Lynch.


As did quarterback Nick Mullens.

Arik Armstead isn't a free agent yet, but he's expected to become one soon. The San Francisco 49ers plan to release their long-time defensive tackle after failing to negotiate a contract restructure with him. Armstead, drafted by the 49ers with the No. 17 overall pick in 2015, has spent his entire career with the team. He was slated to earn about $17.4 million in base salary in 2024 and count about $28.4 million against the salary cap. 49ers attend Arizona pro day to watch Jordan Morgan

Nearly all NFL teams were represented at Arizona's pro day, with only three teams choosing to skip the event. The San Francisco 49ers were among those in attendance to scout the draft prospects, including potential first-round pick, tackle Jordan Morgan. The Niners currently hold 10 selections in the upcoming draft, with their first pick at No. 31 overall. Of note, it wasn't just any 49ers scout present at Arizona's pro day. NFL Draft Diamonds reports that it was the team's director of college scouting. Tariq Ahmad held that position before recently being promoted, along with R.J. Gillen, to co-directors of player personnel. It's assumed that NFL Draft Diamonds meant one of these two

If they require assistance making a significant move, one 49ers player is prepared to lend a helping hand.
