Former Ole Miss wide receiver A.J. Brown was among several draft prospects visiting with the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday. He then took an opportunity to get some work in with one of the franchise's all-time greatest players.
Brown posted the following photo on Twitter of himself with Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice.
Today I will do what others won't so tomorrow I can do what others can't . Thank you for taking me to your stomping grounds .🐐 @JerryRicepic.twitter.com/mfixwZfHjX
The two worked out together and even ran "The Hill," which Rice still runs for endurance training. Rice revealed on Monday that he and Brown would be getting together.
"I'm going to go out with A.J. tomorrow," Rice said during an interview on 95.7 The Game. "We're going to try to do something on the infamous hill."
Rice and some of his teammates used "The Hill," a four-mile trail at Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve in Redwood City, California, to train together during their time with the 49ers.
