The San Francisco 49ers had dinner with former Duke linebacker Joe Giles-Harris on Monday night, according to a report from Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst. He also met with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday, which is when Duke held its pro day.

"Linebacker Joe Giles-Harris ran the three-cone on 7.03 seconds but stood on his forty time from the combine," wrote Pauline. "He did position drills and looked very athletic."

At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6-foot-2 and 234-pound Giles-Harris had a 40-time of 4.75 seconds, a vertical jump of 29.5 inches, a broad jump of 111 inches, and 17 reps in the bench press. Other measurables for Giles-Harris include an arm length of 31 1/4 inches and hands that measure 8 1/2 inches.

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, who compares Giles-Harris to Antonio Morrison, wrote the following about Giles-Harris within his scouting report:

"Traditional inside linebacker who is short on speed, but long on instincts and production. On tape, Giles-Harris makes up for his limitations with an above average sense of play development and consistent downhill fills to shore up the run defense between along the interior. He may not have the explosion traits or third down value that teams look for these days, but size and toughness find ways to stick around in the league."

Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst wrote the following about Giles-Harris within his scouting report:

"I graded Giles-Harris as a potential second-day selection after his redshirt freshman campaign, but he took a step back last year. He has the athleticism to line up in a variety of schemes but must quickly get his game back on track and consistently play at a high level like he did his first two years at Duke."

Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network wrote the following about Giles-Harris within his scouting report:

"Joe Giles-Harris presents himself as a true MIKE at the NFL level. Giles-Harris has strong mental processing, shows effective habits in working over the top of plays and effective range to reach outside the numbers. Giles-Harris may not be the most fluid athlete in pass coverage but he's effectively dropped into man coverage against RBs and has a good head for underneath zone. Giles-Harris can be an immediate starter in an even front, particularly on a defense with stout DTs in front."
