San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and his staff will coach the South squad during the Reese's Senior Bowl on January 26 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Jon Gruden and his Oakland Raiders staff will coach the North squad.

The quarterbacks taking part in the game were announced on Tuesday by Jim Nagy, the Executive Director of Reese's Senior Bowl.

Nagy announced the wide receivers for both squads on Wednesday. You can view the players who will be on hand below with the 49ers' squad (South) listed first.

Update: It was announced on January 12 that Buffalo wide receiver Anthony Johnson will move from the North squad to the South squad. Penny Hart of Georgia State was added to the North squad.

Squad Receiver School
South Tyre Brady Marshall
South Travis Fulgham Old Dominion
South Jalen Hurd Baylor
South Hunter Renfrow Clemson
South Deebo Samuel South Carolina
South David Sills West Virginia
South Jaylen Smith Louisville
South Anthony Johnson Buffalo
North Keelan Doss UC Davis
North Emanuel Hall Missouri
North Penny Hart Georgia State
North Andy Isabella UMass
North Terry McLaurin Ohio State
North Jakobi Meyers NC State
North Alex Wesley Northern Colorado

While the 49ers appear comfortable with their quarterback situation heading into the 2019 season, wide receiver may be a position group the team chooses to address via the draft.

While he remains under contract, Pierre Garçon will be 33 when the new season kicks off, and there are no guarantees that he will be on the 49ers roster when that happens. Marquise Goodwin didn't come anywhere close to the production he displayed in 2017 while a back injury set back second-year receiver Trent Taylor.

Rookie Dante Pettis did come on late in the season, finishing the year with 27 receptions for 467 yards and five touchdowns through 12 games with seven starts.

The 49ers could use a big red-zone threat and have even been linked to names like Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants. Of course, the team would likely need to trade for either player, which might make addressing the position in the draft more appealing than surrendering picks and a large chunk of the salary cap.
