San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle surprised Deion Sanders after Sunday's seven-catch, 210-yard performance against the Denver Broncos, and he did so while wearing the Hall of Fame cornerback's throwback Atlanta Falcons jersey. Sanders was clearly entertained.

Kittle borrowed the jersey for the interview from linebacker Elijah Lee.

In case you missed it, Kittle also paid homage to Sanders on his 85-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Nick Mullens during the second quarter. You can watch the play below.

"[Deion's] a guy that I know loves to play football, and he has the most fun playing it," Kittle told reporters after the game.

Sunday's win was just the 49ers' third of the season. The season has not gone as planned but, like last year, the team has an opportunity to do some damage down the stretch. San Francisco damaged the Broncos' playoff hopes on Sunday.

"I feel like adversity builds character and it shows character," Kittle told Sanders during the interview. "I think this team has definitely come together. We haven't given up on anything, and we're going to try to close out this season with some dubs and ruin some playoff hopes for some teams."

Jeff Garcia has been impressed by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy in his two seasons with the team. As the last overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Purdy was thrust into the spotlight after the 49ers faced quarterback injuries and proved his NFL mettle. While some doubts lingered after his rookie season, Purdy's resilience shone through. Despite starting only five regular-season games, he guided the 49ers to the NFC Championship Game, where, unfortunately, he suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in his throwing arm. Garcia was among those who wondered whether Purdy could maintain his success into his second season. Last year, coming off surgery, Purdy set a single-season franchise record with 4,280 passing yards. His impressive performance
