The Chicago Tribune mentions the possibility of current Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren coming to the San Francisco 49ers to take on the organization's general manager duties.

The rumor mill has begun to churn, and it says some NFL big names could be returning from whence they came.

The most interesting possibility could be Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren returning to the 49ers as their general manager. In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, 49ers owner Denise DeBartolo York last week said the team could be hiring a general manager.
