Head coach Kyle Shanahan already declared Nick Mullens as the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers during the team's Week 12 road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It looks like the 49ers defense will face quarterback Jameis Winston, according to a report from Jenna Laine of ESPN.

Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter told reporters on Monday afternoon that he knew who his starting quarterback would be, but didn't want to make the announcement until he had a chance to speak with his players.
Ryan Fitzpatrick started Sunday's game against the New York Giants but was benched in the third quarter after throwing his third interception of the day. Winston replaced Fitzpatrick and led the Buccaneers offense to four consecutive touchdown drives. The Giants, however, still came away with the 38-35 victory.
Fitzpatrick completed 13-of-21 pass attempts for 167 yards with three picks against the Giants before being pulled. Winston entered the game and went 12-of-16 for 199 yards with two touchdown passes and an interception. He also had a fumble recovered in the end zone by teammate Mike Evans for another touchdown.
