The FOX broadcast crew announced something interesting during Thursday night's game between the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders. Quarterback Nick Mullens, who started for San Francisco because C.J. Beathard is dealing with right wrist and thumb injuries, entered the game unverified on Twitter.
You know it's a good night when that changes during the game.
Mullens has had such a good night in his NFL debut that his account is now verified on Twitter. Nick Wagoner of ESPN was the first to point out the change.

As of this post, Mullens is 16-of-22 for 262 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. The 49ers currently lead 34-3 at the two-minute warning.
