Two key San Francisco 49ers players are expected to be available on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Running back Matt Breida and cornerback Richard Sherman will play, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Breida, however, will likely be limited during the game.
49ers' RB Matt Breida, listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals due to an ankle injury, is expected to play but be limited, per source. The 49ers want to use caution with him with all he has battled.
Both Breida and Sherman were listed as questionable on the 49ers' Friday injury report. Breida is dealing with an ankle injury while Sherman has been working through a calf injury.
"I'm pretty sure I'm playing this week," Sherman told reporters on Thursday. "Next Thursday, on Thursday, that's going to be a question for Thursday."
The 49ers play the Oakland Raiders on Thursday.
"I'm going to battle and try to hit both of them," Sherman added, "but the body can only do what the body can do."
