Oct 5, 2018 at 1:41 PM--

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 5 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Injury notes from Friday:

  • T Joe Staley was able to practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday.
  • CB Richard Sherman practiced for the second-straight day.
  • T Mike McGlinchey and C Weston Richburg have been practicing since Thursday.

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 3 contest against the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. George Kittle has been cleared to play this weekend. The tight end will make his 2022 season debut after suffering a groin injury on September 5. "He's good to go. I thought he got better each day," head coach Kyle Shanahan said after Friday's practice. Defensive lineman Arik Armstead sustained a foot injury during Week 2's win over the Seattle Seahawks. As a result, he did not practice this week and is listed as

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 4 contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Defensive linemen Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw returned to practice. Armstead has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, forcing him to miss the 49ers' Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos. Kinlaw played in that game but sat out the first two full practices of the week due to a knee injury. "Just flaring up on him," head coach Kyle Shanahan said of Kinlaw's knee. The defensive tackle underwent reconstructive surgery on his ACL last year. Is the coach concerned that the injury could hinder Kinlaw throughout the season? "Yeah, anytime someone has something, it's a concern,"

Richard Sherman concerned about 49ers as his former squad faces must-win game

By David Bonilla

Richard Sherman has been high on his former squad, the San Francisco 49ers. Earlier this month, he predicted a Super Bowl win for Kyle Shanahan's team. Then, two weeks later, after an 0-1 start, Sherman doubled down on that prediction. Is his faith in the 49ers' chances this season starting to waver?
