The next San Francisco 49ers depth chart will be the real deal. Until then, the 49ers Communications staff has released the final one of the preseason as the team prepares for its exhibition finale against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday.
There are no significant changes from previous depth charts with the exception of linebacker Mark Nzeocha being listed as the starting SAM after Eli Harold was traded to the Detroit Lions last week. Nzeocha started on Saturday afternoon against the Indianapolis Colts.
If you are trying to read into the preseason depth charts, don't. They are not always an indication of potential individual playing time.
