Tackle Joe Staley said on Monday that the San Francisco 49ers veterans were hoping to get position groups outside of the offensive line more involved in getting the crowd of fans fired up at training camp. The team has been choosing a rookie before each practice to head over to the stands and get everyone in attendance hyped up.
It looks like Staley got his wish because, on Tuesday, it was wide receiver Dante Pettis' turn.
