Fusco becomes the second unrestricted free agent who spent 2017 with the 49ers to sign elsewhere. Running back Carlos Hyde is signing a three-year deal reportedly worth $15 million with the Cleveland Browns.
The 49ers signed Fusco to a one-year deal on May 2, 2017, after spending the previous six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. He was initially a sixth-round draft pick out of Slippery Rock by Minnesota in the 2011 draft.
Over his career, Fusco appeared in 83 games with 80 starts. In 2017 with the 49ers, he started each of the team's 16 games.
