San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo now has (or will have as soon as it is made official) the largest contract in NFL history. Garoppolo and the 49ers have reportedly agreed to a five-year deal worth an NFL-record $137.5 million. That means he will not become a free agent, the team will not have to use the franchise tag, and the 49ers have their franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future.
Garoppolo's $27.5 million yearly average over the next five years surpasses the $27 million per year that Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford agreed to when he signed a new deal in 2017.
The Niner Faithful have to be feeling pretty good about the team and its future. Do you want to feel even better? Here are the top 10 Jimmy Garoppolo plays of 2017, which was shared by our friend Rob Lowder over at Niners Wire.
