Trailing 19-16 in the third quarter, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo engineered a five-play, 26-yard drive following cornerback K'Waun Williams' interception of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles. The drive was capped off with Garoppolo throwing an eight-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end George Kittle.
The extra point by kicker Robbie Gould gave the 49ers a 23-19 lead.
As of the touchdown, Garoppolo has completed 16 of his 24 passes for 210 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
