Tight end Logan Paulsen is back on the San Francisco 49ers' roster. The team has signed him to a one-year deal, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.
Paulsen was released by the 49ers on October 24 in response to other roster moves. He initially joined the 49ers on a one-year deal at the start of free agency in March.
Paulsen entered the NFL with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2010. In six NFL seasons (Paulsen missed 2015 due to injury) before joining San Francisco, he had 82 catches for 816 yards and six touchdowns. Despite appearing in seven games with the 49ers this season, Paulsen does not have a catch this year.
Tight ends George Kittle and Cole Hikutini each suffered injuries on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Kittle suffered an ankle injury while Hikutini is headed to injured reserve with an MCL injury.
