Reuben Foster is fond of his new quarterback. The rookie linebacker, who has a great smile himself, was complimentary of Jimmy Garoppolo's while talking to the media before practice on Thursday.
Cam Inman of
Bay Area News Group asked Foster what his initial impressions of Garoppolo were upon meeting him for the first time.
"Jimmy, he looks like a nice, cool guy," Foster said with his traditional big smile. "He got a nice smile on him, like an innocent smile so, yeah, he's going to fit in perfectly."
Inman asked: "You know how that goes, huh?"
"Yeah, I know how that goes," Foster responded. "He's going to fit in perfectly. He's a winner. I can see it."

"Sunday's game currently ranks as one of the hottest NFL tickets for Week 2, coming in 3rd," a representative with Vivid Seats told 49ers Webzone.
Only the New York Jets at Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles games ranked higher in Week 2.
