The San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos will face each other sometime during the second week of exhibition play (August 17-21). The Broncos announced today that the two squads will once again hold joint practices with each other prior to the preseason game – this time on the 49ers' home turf.
We're going to share practices with the @49ers again this summer — but this time, we're going to their place.
The joint practices between the two teams will be the third consecutive occurrence. The previous two took place in Denver. The exhibition game is also the sixth consecutive preseason matchup between the two teams.
You might remember that one practice last offseason got a little competitive when a skirmish broke out between Eli Harold and Virgil Green.
