While the date has been known for months now, NFLPlayers.com reports the San Francisco 49ers will open training camp July 28. The team will hold camp at the 49ers' Complex in Santa Clara, California. The real question is when the open practice sessions for fans will be held. 49ers.com says that they will release those exact dates and times in July.

49ers Inside Training Camp on NFL Network, the show covering individual team practice sessions, will air on July 31.

49ers open practice windows for Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson, sign safety Chris Edwards, others

The San Francisco 49ers have signed safety Chris Edwards to a one-year deal. The team has also opened the practice window for two players on injured reserve — running backs Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. Mostert has been on injured reserve since October 24 as he recovered from a high-ankle sprain during a Week 6 contest against the Los Angeles Rams. Wilson suffered the same injury a week later against the New England Patriots and landed on injured reserve on October 31.
