George Kittle is likely to miss his 13th game since 2020. The San Francisco 49ers tight end is still working his way back from a groin strain, but isn't likely to be ready for this weekend's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, per one report. "San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittle's serious groin injury is improving," wrote Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, "but not enough to where he's expected to play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly." Two days after Branch's report, ESPN's Adam Schefter still hears the same thing. 49ers QB Trey Lance expected to require surgery, likely ending his season, per report

Trey Lance went down late in the first quarter of the San Francisco 49ers' 27-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks. It was an injury so concerning that the second-year quarterback couldn't make it off the field on his own. He tried to get up, but pressure on his right leg, and immediately went back down to the turf. There was a great deal of concern from his teammates for Lance as he was carted off the field and into the locker room for further tests. The 49ers later announced that Lance was ruled out due to an ankle injury. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Lance's season may be over. The quarterback is expected to require surgery, likely ending his season. So it will probably be Jimmy Garoppolo's job moving



49ers-Broncos: WR Jerry Jeudy, CB Patrick Surtain expected to play
