"I would think that Anthony Davis' experience ultimately is going to give him the nod," said Maiocco. "He's doing a pretty good job. Last night, there was a play where he was peaking inside, let the outside linebacker get around him for a pretty clean sack and afterward, Chip [Kelly] kind of downplayed that and said that there was something ... not necessarily putting it all onto Davis. That there were other things going on in that play and other assignments across the board that maybe were a little bit lacking on that.
"Trent Brown has done pretty well. He's a big guy, young guy obviously. But you know, Anthony Davis is young too so we'll let that one play out. I still think that Davis has the advantage. Trent Brown has only started two games in the NFL."
