Both CB Kenneth Acker and CB Tramaine Brock had interceptions off of Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and Wilson was sacked five times by a 49ers defense that had four sacks in the previous five games. It wasn't enough as the 49ers take sole possession of last place in the NFC West as they fall to a record of 2-5.

If it wasn't evident already, the 49ers are clearly rebuilding. After looking as though he was improving over the past couple of games, 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick regressed once again. He has fallen to 1-6 against the Seahawks and was sacked six times in this contest. He ended the night with just 124 yards passing as he completed only 13 of 24 passes.
The 49ers had only 142 net yards, their fewest since a 9-3 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in 2006, compared to the Seahawks' 388. The 49ers punted the ball nine times, which was one more than first downs in the game. They had just 48 snaps on offense, which was their fewest in a game since 2009.

For the Seahawks, RB Marshawn Lynch rushed for 122 yards, making this the fourth straight meeting with the 49ers where he has rushed for 100-or-more yards.
Wilson completed 18 of his 24 passes for 235 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions.
"We didn't play well. We don't have an excuse," said upset 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula following the loss. "They just played better than we played."
The 49ers will next face the Rams in St. Louis on Sunday, November 1.
