While the 49ers did not come away with the victory, a number of players impressed in the loss. Running back Jarryd Hayne and linebackers Eli Harold and Shayne Skov are just three of those players. Even backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert impressed on his way to a 125.6 QB rating.
What wasn't impressive was the 49ers secondary. For the first time in Houston Texans history, three quarterbacks each finished a single preseason game with a QB rating over 100.
