Dashon Goldson not expected to leave Tampa without a contract

The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that free agent safety Dashon Goldson will not leave Tampa without a contract.

The Bucs appear close to a deal with 49ers free agent safety Dashon Goldson. He's en route to Tampa and, if things go as planned, won't leave without a contract. Look for Goldson to sign a deal approaching that of Chargers safety Eric Weddle, who averages about $8 million per year.
