Wide receiver Jacob Cowing is suited up for practice after missing time with a hip flexor injury. Wide receiver Mike Evans is also on the field for his second consecutive practice after dealing with a quad strain.
Additionally, two players who appeared on the post-game injury report following Thursday night's game—cornerback Jack Jones (hand) and safety Marques Sigle (oblique)—are also suited up and participating.
The 49ers worked out three cornerbacks on Friday, raising some concern about Jones' status. However, he appears to have avoided a setback. Jones has been a training camp standout.
Unfortunately, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports that neither running back Christian McCaffrey nor defensive end Nick Bosa appears to be participating. McCaffrey has been dealing with "tightness," while Bosa has been sidelined with soreness and tendinitis in his surgically repaired knee.
Neither setback is expected to be a long-term concern.
Quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who suffered a rib injury against the Titans and was sent to the hospital for further evaluation, is also not practicing. Rourke was released from the hospital on Thursday night and was seen at the team's practice facility on Friday.
