According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the San Francisco 49ers are hosting former Oklahoma linebacker Kendal Daniels on Wednesday as pre-draft evaluations near their conclusion.

The Athletic's Dane Brugler has Daniels graded as a sixth-round prospect, which aligns with other analysts' projections for the versatile defender.

Daniels (6-5, 242) spent four seasons at Oklahoma State before transferring to Oklahoma in 2025. Over his collegiate career, he recorded 293 tackles, 31.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, five interceptions, and 16 passes defended, along with two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries, according to Sports Reference.

In 2025, Daniels started every game at the hybrid "Cheetah" position, finishing with 53 tackles, including nine for loss. He also added three pass breakups and one fumble recovery.

The 2026 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 23, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
