Juszczyk joined The Rich Eisen Show this week and was asked about his Super Bowl pick, which coincidentally will take place at the 49ers' home venue, Levi's Stadium.
"Not a big fan of Seattle, to put it lightly," Juszczyk told Eisen. "So I like the Patriots' chances."
He noted that he has no problem with the Seahawks celebrating a championship at Levi's Stadium if they win the game on February 8. After all, he would do the same if the 49ers were celebrating a championship win in a rival's stadium.
Juszczyk also mentioned that he would be happy for a few former teammates and colleagues now with Seattle, including quarterback Sam Darnold, tight end Eric Saubert, and Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who previously worked with San Francisco.
Still, heated division rivalries are hard to ignore.
"That's a division rival," Juszczyk said. "It's a heated one every time we step on the field. There's a lot of words exchanged. And let's just leave it at that. You never like your division rivals, and it's always a good matchup."
Juszczyk's support for the Patriots is also personal. During the 2025 American Century Championship in South Lake Tahoe, he got to know Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
"I golfed in the American Century Championship this past offseason with you, Rich, and Mike Vrabel was in my group," Juszczyk said. "And I had so much fun with him, and what a great, great guy that is, and what an incredible coach and job he's done for the Patriots. They just seem like a very well-rounded team from top to bottom, and I feel like they can go in there and win themselves a ring."
As the 49ers head into the 2026 season, Juszczyk is feeling optimistic about his 14th NFL year.
"Feeling healthy, feeling great," he said. "I genuinely feel like I had one of my better seasons in maybe the last five seasons. I feel phenomenal. I'm under contract next year. I'll be in San Francisco, and we're ready to go make another run at this thing, and hopefully have a few more chances."
