The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Wild Card Round playoff contest against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Great news for 49ers fans: All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams returned to the practice field, improving his outlook for Sunday's NFC Wild Card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Williams suffered a hamstring injury on the opening offensive play of the Week 17 game and had not practiced or played since. His return to practice marks a significant step forward for a 49ers offense preparing for a crucial road game.

Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, however, remains sidelined after aggravating a lingering PCL injury in Week 17, though he was seen working on a side field.

Also absent from Thursday's practice were linebackers Dee Winters and Luke Gifford, along with defensive end Keion White.

Defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, who appeared to tweak his knee during Wednesday's session, was present at Thursday's practice, a positive sign for the interior defensive line.

Additionally, linebacker Fred Warner was spotted doing light running on a side field, indicating continued progress in his recovery from the dislocated and fractured right ankle he suffered on October 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
