Tackle Trent Williams and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall were not healthy enough to practice on Wednesday. Williams continues to recover from the hamstring injury that forced him to miss Week 18's game against the Seattle Seahawks and limited him to just one play in Week 17 against the Chicago Bears.
Pearsall also missed the Seahawks game after aggravating a previous PCL injury.
Linebacker Dee Winters and defensive end Keion White are dealing with injuries as well, keeping them out of Wednesday's practice. However, reporters did see Pearsall and White working on the side.
The 49ers opened the practice window for wide receiver Jacob Cowing, though it may primarily serve as an opportunity for the wideout to get some reps in preparation for the offseason. Head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated that Cowing is unlikely to be activated from injured reserve ahead of the Eagles game.
"We've got him for three weeks, so I'd say there's a chance to get him back in and see what happens over these three weeks," Shanahan said. "But for a guy to not have any practice throughout camp or this regular season, I think it'd be a little unrealistic for this week."
Jordan Elliott was listed as a limited participant. The Athletic's Matt Barrows reported that the defensive lineman tweaked his knee during individual drills.
Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Eagles, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
