The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 16 contest against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ricky Pearsall missed his second straight practice after suffering ankle and knee injuries against the Tennessee Titans. The 49ers remain hopeful the second-year wide receiver will be available against the Colts, though the team has just one practice remaining before the game.

"He had a setback with his injuries, hasn't been able to go here the last two days, but we'll hold out hope all the way until Monday that it'll heal up and give him a chance to play," head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Friday.

Running back Christian McCaffrey and offensive tackle Trent Williams returned to practice after taking a rest day on Thursday.

Guard Spencer Burford and defensive tackle Jordan Elliott also returned after missing Thursday's session due to injuries. Linebacker Nick Martin continues to work his way through the concussion protocol following the injury he sustained on November 30.

Pearsall and Martin were both seen working on the side, while cornerback Renardo Green practiced in a no-contact jersey.

Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Colts, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
