Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall remains sidelined from practice as he continues to recover from a knee injury that has kept him out since Week 4. His return timeline is still uncertain as the team prepares for its upcoming matchup.
Two players who emerged from Sunday's game against the Houston Texans with injuries—linebacker Dee Winters and rookie defensive tackle Alfred Collins—were also absent from practice. Winters is dealing with a knee injury, while Collins continues to manage a shoulder issue.
Quarterback Brock Purdy remains the most notable name on the 49ers' list of limited practice participants. Purdy has now missed six games this season due to a lingering toe injury.
On a more positive note, offensive lineman Ben Bartch had his practice window opened this week. Bartch was placed on injured reserve on September 17 due to a high-ankle sprain and is eligible to return once the team deems him ready.
Notably, defensive end Sam Okuayinonu was expected to be limited but did not practice. Additionally, tight end George Kittle showed up on the injury report with an oblique issue, but was a full participant.
Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Giants, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
