San Francisco officially ruled out three players on Friday: quarterback Brock Purdy, wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, and defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos. Meanwhile, cornerback Renardo Green (neck) and cornerback Upton Stout (shoulder) were all listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup. Only Green is active.
Rookie linebacker Nick Martin is active for the first time after being a healthy scratch for the first six games.
On Saturday, the 49ers announced several roster moves. Linebacker Fred Warner (ankle) was placed on injured reserve, while defensive lineman Trevis Gipson was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Wide receiver Malik Turner and offensive lineman Nick Zakelj were elevated from the practice squad, and tight end Brayden Willis was waived.
Additionally, San Francisco activated tight end George Kittle (hamstring) and defensive tackle Kevin Givens (pectoral) from injured reserve, making them available to play against the Falcons.
